Gemma Slater

I am a farmer’s daughter from the West Cumbria with my own pedigree herd of Limousin cattle and sheep. Lets not forget my very hyper new baby Border Collie pup Spot. 

I graduated from Harper Adams with my Veterinary Nursing Degree in 2016 and my first job was in a mixed animal practice near home. This job really drove my passion for nursing out on farms! Who doesn't love being outside in the countryside on a sunny day with the rolling hills. This passion for nursing with large animals then continued when I started at Border and Eden Vets in October 2017. I enjoy being out on farms mobility scoring and assisting vets with procedures.
